On the 7th and 8th of July, the Japan Society of Hawkes Bay sponsored the Model and Hobby Expo at Napier Boys Highs School. Radio control trucks, model railways, model cars, boats, planes, doll houses, model castles, toy soldiers, war games and more were featured accross the weekend, with the goal of raising funds to send Japanese language students to Japan later this year.
